Your philanthropic investment in the YMCA of the Upper Main Line ensures the YMCA is there for those who need us most. The YMCA is committed to the communities we serve by offering programs, activities and services that best meet the needs of children and families. However you choose to give, whether through an online donation to our Changing Lives Annual Support Campaign, the United Way or matching gifts from your employer, your investment will have a positive impact on those we serve.

The YMCA helped Ted after his heart transplant. The YMCA Changed Ted Rogalis' Life

After ten years of waiting for a new heart, Ted Rogalis was given seven hours to live when he received his heart transplant fourteen years ago.

After the transplant, Ted was required to keep a daily physical regime. Ted and his wife of 59 years, Ellie, were exhausting all their resources on his monthly medication bills and could not afford to join any facility.

At 75 years old and on oxygen full time, Ted turned to the YMCA. He took advantage of the Changing Lives program to get a subsidized membership.

Grinning broadly Ted says, “Now I am able to swim, lift weights and even take Tai Chi. Without the Y’s help, I would not be here. The Y is like my family. It makes such a big difference - and boy, you can’t find this quality of life just anywhere. It makes me feel worthy and makes me feel better. I’m very grateful.”

Programs supported through your donation include: Day Care, Afterschool, Summer Camp, Swim lessons, Active Older Adult programs and Youth Sports leagues.

Donate Online – Complete a simple form specifying the amount and branch you would like to benefit from your gift.

Cash or check – Make checks payable to the YMCA of the Upper Main Line, 1416 Berwyn Paoli Road, Berwyn, PA 19312

Credit Cards – We accept VISA, MasterCard and American Express. Donate online or call 610.854.1642 to make arrangements.

Stocks/Securities – Giving your investments may be the optimal way to provide a significant gift while reaping tax benefits.

United Way – The YMCA of the Upper Main Line’s Donor Option number is 294.

Matching Gifts – Double your gift. If you or your spouse or partners work for a company with a matching gift program, please take advantage of it by enclosing your employer's matching gift form with your contribution. Ask your Human Resources department if you qualify.
