Programs for Together Time
The Upper Main Line YMCA is committed to building strong kids, strong families and strong communities through a variety of family-oriented programs. Our programs and resources are available to provide you with the tools needed for positive parenting and relationships.
We offer babysitting services for active parents who want to stay healthy and fit for the most important task of all: raising children. We offer parent-child classes and programs. We set aside time for family swims.
In addition to a broad array of programs for adults, we offer many specialty classes and numerous competitive team programs for children. Most classes are scheduled in ten-week sessions throughout the year.
Highlights of our family programs include:
- YMCA Adventure Guides
- YMCA Adventure Guides is a parent/child program designed to help parent-child
pairs build strong, lasting relationships. Small group meetings are
held once a month and several larger events are held through the
school year. Activities include camping, canoeing, bowling, skating,
ball games swimming and more. YMCA Adventure Guides is also one of
the YMCA's strongest volunteer-development programs.
