Day Camp

Full Day Lionville YMCA Day Camp offers children a wide variety of new experiences mixed with the traditional camp favorites of swimming, sports, nature and science, and arts and crafts. Children will enjoy a different theme each session. Field trips and special events emphasize weekly themes.

A recreational swim is offered every day for all campers. Swim lessons are scheduled for all Pathfinders and Trailblazers four days a week. Swim lessons are not available during Post sessions. Lessons for all others may be scheduled outside of camp.

We strive to provide a happy and safe environment for campers. We encourage youngsters to participate in group activities that develop creativity, independence and a sense of community.

Campers are given the opportunity to learn new skills and utilize existing skills. Leading by example, our Day Camp staff challenge campers to accept and demonstrate the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. For more information contact Tamara Widdowson at 610-363-9622 x2245.

Each camp group consists of approximately 15 children, supervised by a minimum of 2 counselors. An extended care option is available for each camp. Weekly Themes
